2011 has not been kind to us. Our "wonderful sleeper" has been on strike. Maybe on some level she knows I am going back to work tomorrow?!

Last night we chalked it up to the fact that we were at the N's house at her bedtime and it was a strange bed and we forgot the swaddler.

Tonight she has the swaddler and her own bed and routine. Screaming for the past 2 1/2 hours. We tried the Mylecon drops after an hour. Didn't work. We tried letting her cry. We tried comforting her. We tried feeding her. We tried rubbing her back and rocking her.

She's still crying. 8 more hours until I have to get up for work.

Haha. That's what you get for blogging about what a good sleeper she is. ;-)

Good luck at your first day back at work!

I really think those babies can sense just when we need our sleep and/or are stressed out. I have no doubt she will go back to her old ways soon.

I agree with the comment above...she senses your anxiety about going back to work. Babies are smart like that. Can't wait to hear how your return to work has been.
