Selling China?

My in-laws gave us this cabinet. (Or, they were going to give it to goodwill and I thought it was too nice and took it!) I was very excited about it because I thought I could put our china in there, rather than in our plain cupboard so that we could at least see it.

We hauled it home, got it in the house, loaded up the china and now I'm not sure. I think it may look too much like a store display. Any thoughts?

Keep it for a few weeks, and whenever you have friends over, take an informal poll. From the pictures, I think it looks really nice! Clean and neat. It also matches the room well. But again, I think after a couple of weeks, you'll know if it is working for you.

I think it looks great. Way better than storing your china in the cabinet. I think it is hard not to make it look like a display, because it is one! you know? Great free find!

I think it's great. I'd definitely keep it. Ali has a good suggestion to try it out for a while, see if you warm up to it.

I like it. The way you have the china stacked looks more casual than store display. =)

I think it would look better if you added some stuff with a little more color to accent all the white, but I like the overall china cabinet with china look. My mom has some pottery and colored china from my great grandma in hers and I really think it looks nice.
