My good friend Brooke (who also is a new homeowner) and I were just discussing holiday tipping. Do we tip the mailman? If so, how much? We only get the Sunday paper, so do we tip the paperguy? Yet another aspect of homeowning that I never knew about.

Oh boy. I have not even thought of tipping the mail guy. Of course, I think when you share a mailbox with dozens of other condo owners, you forget things like that.

Okay. Random question...perhaps more for other people who post. What is the handicap icon next to the word verification? I just don't understand. I clicked on it, and some cryptic message was playing, with a woman in a British accent saying "1...8...4...7...3" stuff like that, with noise in the background and lots of women talking in what sounds like different languages. Ideas anyone?
Thanks for the mention of my name on the blog....I feel so honored!Alas, my mailman ended up with a $10 McDonalds gift card and my once-a-week paperboy with a $5 one. A nice gesture I believe, but I do not recieve anything for all the dirty work I do all year???!!! hehe.
No idea what that icon could mean....maybe a foreign language converter or a place where people with disabilities can get assistance on the blog?
I think the icon is Google's cruel joke to make people feel handicapped. I clicked and listened and it definitely made me feel that way.
