Before and After Volume 1

We successfully finished one of the downstairs bedrooms. Here is a little before and after action, although they do not convey AT ALL the dirtiness of the "before" walls. In case you cannot tell, the pictures with the green carpet, mint green walls and the square light fixture are the "before pictures" and the pictures with the wood floors exposed, "abalone shell" paint, and round light fixture are the "after pictures", although you may notice we still need to buy a new register to replace the rust bucket that exists there now. Future pictures of this bedroom can be viewed by copying and pasting the following link into your browser.

TIP: I highly recommend the TSP-substitute as a cleaner before you paint walls. You can find it at your neighborhood Home Depot.
